Tianzi Mountain Hiking
Tianzi Mountain, with 1,260 meters above sea level, is located in
Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie City. There are five main scenic zones and over ten scenic spots in the Tianzi Mountain area. They include more than 80 natural platforms to take in the magnificent scenery. Highlights in Tianzishan: Helong Park, West Sea Stone Forests, Divine Shrine and Immortal Bridge.
Routes of Hiking from Tianzi Mountain to Suoxiyu,Wulingyuan Distrct
Tianzi Mountain is a nice place for visitors to spend their hiking tour. There are two ways to hike down to Suoxiyu or Wulingyuan after you finish visiting Tianzi Mountain if you don't like to take Tianzi Mountain Cable car.
1. Tianzi Mountain to Ten-mile Gallery
Lengthe: 8 km from Tianzi Paviliion to the entrance gate of Ten-mile Gallery
Path: Down stairs and a little up-stairs
Hiking Hours: 4 hours hiking
Route Details:
Start your hiking at Tianzi Pavillion in Tianzi Mountain.
Arrive and have a rest at the Moon Pass after 30 minutes' hiking.
Hike from the Moon Pass to the Heaven Patform for sightseeing ( about 30 minutes up-stairs)
Hiking down to the Three Sisters Peaks along the Wolong Range ( 2 hours walking)
Walk to the entrance gate of the Ten-mile Gallery ( 1 hours hiking and sightseeing)
2. Tianzi Mountain to Sansuo ( a former site name, as well as a shuttle bus station, called by local people )
Length : 7 km from Tianzi Pavillion to Sansuo via the South Heaven Gate
Path : Down stars and a little up-stairs
Hiking Hours: 3 hours hiking
Route Details:
Start your hiking at Tianzi Pavillion in Tianzi Mountain.
Arrive and have a rest at the Moon Pass after 30 minutes' hiking.
Hike from the Moon Pass to the Heaven Patform for sightseeing ( about 30 minutes up-stairs)
Walk down to the Wolong Range ( 30 minutes walking)
Turn letf at the Wolong range and walk to the South Heaven Gate for a rest and sightseeing( 30 minutes ).
Walk down to the shuttle bus station at Sansuo for taking shuttle bus to the entrance gate of Wulingyuan Scenic Area or Ten-mile Gallery. ( 1 hours walking)
