Tianzi Mountain Ropeway
Tianzi Mountain Ropeway , or Tianzi Mountain Cable Car, is the fastest transport for tourists to visiting Tianzi Mountain, which is located in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area of Zhangjiajie City.
The lower station of the ropeway is next to the Site of Sansuuo in Suoxiyu Scenic Spot, and the upper station is located at the east of Tianzishan Scenic Spot.
Tianzi Mountain Ropeway was opened to tourists in 1997, and it was expanded and upgraded in 2016. Tianzi Mountain cableway has atotal length of 2091 meters. All its equipment is imported from the Austrian company Doppelmayr. The cableway has 41 carriages, each of which can carry 8 tourists at a speed of 11m / s, and the maximum carrying capacity is 2100 people per hour.
Taking Tianzi Mountain cableway up and down the Mountain, tourists can avoid to be tired of climbing and save much time for your visiting. Sitting on the Tianzi Mountain Ropeway, you can see the strange stone forests and other charming scenery of Tianzi Mountain and Suoxiyu Scenic Spot.
