Grand Viewing Platform, also called 大观台 （Da Guan Tai）in Chinese,is located  in Chapanta Scenic  Spot , Tianzi Mountain. Wulingyuan Scenic Area, Zhangjiajie City.

As one for the best places for shooting,it has 4 natural spectacles such as the clouds of mist that circle the peaks of the mountain, the amazing views of the sun-rising, the moonlit nights and snow-capped winter peaks. 

Especially, the place of Grand Viewing Platform is the best place where you can see the sun-rising. The sunrise time here is approximately at 05:00 in summer, and at 07:00 in winter. 

Nearby the  Grand Viewing Platform, there are also some famous landscapes such as One Dangerous Step, Fairy Bridge, Emperor's Seat, etc.  Gazing into the distance,you will have a panoramic view of numerous peaks.
