Literature Star Rock
The attraction of Literature Star Rock is also called Wenxing Rock or 文星岩 （Wén xīng yán）in Chinese, which is located about 20 meters east away from the site of Longevity Spring Well in the Golden Whip Stream,
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
This rock is a hill formation that is in the stream of Golden Whip Stream Valley,which is called Literature Star Rock which means a star in the literature field.
Please look up, this stone peak stands beside the Golden Whip Stream. The upper part of it looks like a human face looking to the northeast. Visitors can see it clearly that the face is thin, with short moustaches, prominent bones, thick nose and lip. It looks like a person who is quietly conceiving.
It’s said that the hill resembles one of China’s great modern literary giants, and a great thinker, Lu Xun (1881-1936), so because of this, it’s called Literature Star Rock, you know because he was a star in the literature field. In 1997, the former president Jiang Zemin once visited
Zhangjiajie, "It is also like Gorky, one of the most famous literature in Russia." he said at the scene while he walked to this place and got sight of this attraction.
