This site is a platform strengthening from the cliff. The Platform Base is 5 meters (16 feet) high with an area of 20 meters (24 square yards), and the other one is piling up on the base which is 10 meters (33 feet) high with a diameter of 5 meters (5.4 yards) on the top of the rock.
This is a best place for visitors to take pictures and get a view of the scenery. Around 10 people can stand on the platform at the same time. When 
standing here at night , people will have a feeling in the sky to catch stars. If after raining, you stand here looking around, wind rolls clouds, looking down, river flows in forest, waterfall pours down to valleys.
The Star-Catching Platform is small and has only way for visitors go up and down. It is an isolated stone peak with a flat top and artificial fences around it. Ascending the distance, the spectacular scenery of the Yellow Stone Village can be seen at a glance. Please pay attention to safety while you visit.

The attraction of Star-Catching Platform is located on the eastern part of the Six Wonders Pavilion in the Yellow Stone Village of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It is one of the top ten attractions in the Yellow Stone Village.
