How to get to Xiangtan ?
By Air: Xiangtan is well connected to Zhuzhou and Changsha City by roads, river and rail . There is shuttle bus connecting Changsha Huanghua International Airport.
By Train: Take train no.5365 from Changsha Railway Station to Shaoshan Railway Station, departing at 6:36 and arriving at 9:14. The train no. 5366 goes back from 16:28 to 19:18.
Especially,Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Intercity Railwaywas started in 2016. It is very easy to travel bewtween Changsha, Xiangtan or Zhuchu.
Take bus no.17, 18, 149, 168, 312, 314, 315, 348, 405, 603, 704, or 902 to get off at Changsha West Bus Station. At this bus station, there are direct buses to Shaoshan.
In Shaoshan Road (Middle) and Shaoshan Road (West), there are many buses to Changsha and Shaoshan every 10 to 20 minutes taking about one hour. Buses to Wuhan in Hubei Province are also easy to get. It is about a four hour ride.
