Yushu Airport Code: YUS

 Location:  Shangbatang Village, Batang Town, Yushu County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province 

 

Yushu Batang Airport is 18 kilometers away from the downtown area of Yushu. It is an airport in high plateau with an altitude more than 3900 meters. Yushu Batang Airport is a small airport with only one terminal building now in a traditional Tibetan style.The flights in Yushu Airport can arrive at 5 domestic cities now: Beijing, Chengdu, Lhasa, Xining and Xi’an.

Due to its location, the airport is equipped with oxygen facilities for passengers who feel lack of oxygen. Also, Yushu Airport has shops, restaurants, police center and medical center in the terminal.
