Huzhu Tu Minority Folk Garden
Huzhu Tu Minority Folk Garden is located in Weiyuan Town of Huzhou Tu Nationality Autonomous County, in Haidong Prefecture of
Qinghai Province. Huzhou County is the only Tu Nationality Autonomous County in China. This ancient ethnic group of Tu nationality have thrived here for many generations. With a unique cultural landscape here, Huzhu Tu Minority Folk Garden has attracted many domestic and foreign tourists to come for sightseeing.
The Tu people believe in Lamaism, and they are interested in singing and dancing. Their costumes are full of ethnic characteristics. On the fifth day of the fifth month, the sixth day of the sixth month, and the ninth day of the ninth month of the lunar calendar are their festivals .The "Hua'er Concert" is often held in the Huzhu Tu Minority Folk Garden.
Tu people have formed their own unique culture in the long historical process. The sleeves of Tu women's clothing are made of different colors such as red, yellow, black, green, and white, just like a rainbow in the sky. Therefore, Huzhu County is known as "the hometown of the rainbow".
