Li Bai's Former Residence


The former residence of Li Bai is located in Qinglian Town, Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province. It was named as the historical and cultural town of Sichuan Province by the provincial government in 1994.
Qinglian Town not only created the fascinating Li Bai, but also contained profound historical and cultural connotations, which became the reflection of the present world. Li Bai culture is the most complete place, and because of its unique scenery and convenient transportation, it has become one of the three major tourism products that Mianyang City has recently built. For example, “Mianyang--Li Bai’s Hometown--Wuwang Cave--Baoen Temple--White Horse and it is the important scenic spot on the national customs eco-tourism line of the cottage--Wanglang--Jiuzhai and Huanglong.
Li Bai Memorial Hall is located in Qinglian Township, 14 km south of Jiangyou City. It is located between Mianyang City and Jiangyou City, 15 kilometers away from Jiangbai City, the former residence of Li Bai. 23 km from Mianyang City, 108 National Highway (Mianyang--Guangyuan Expressway entrance) 10 km. The West Anhui is the place where Li Bai lived when he was a teenager. Behind it is the emperor Li Yueyuan's tomb. In the memorial hall, there are collections of Li Bai poems in the Tang Dynasty manuscripts found in Dunhuang Grottoes, Li Bai's poems in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and photos and rubbings of Li Bai's inks and remains. There are also collections of plaques, couplets, and Li Bai's poems written by Soong Ching Ling, Zhou Enlai, Deng Xiaoping, Chen Yi, Guo Chao Moruo, and Zhang Aiping.The scenic area has a planned control area of 23 square kilometers. Its central scenic area has a control area of about 8 square kilometers.
In 1998, Li Bai's Former Residence was listed as a provincial-level scenic spot by the Sichuan Provincial Government.
