Seda Celestial Burial Platform, between the
Seda Larong Wuming Buddhist College and the Seda County, was built on a relatively flat half-mountain slope. Next to a small white tower, a flat fence like a basketball court was surrounded by iron bars. That was the place where the celestial burial was carried out. In Seda, it is necessary to have a certain amount of guts and tolerance. To be honest, it is really a bit horrible, and the smell on the spot is hard to accept.
The celestial burial is to feed the body of the deceased to the eagle. After the eagle eagle flies into the sky, the
Tibetans believe that the deceased has ascended to heaven. After the death of the man, the corpse was stopped for several days, and the lama was asked to go to the funeral for the day. The celestial burial master then stripped the body clothes and dismembered the body according to certain procedures, and the bones were peeled off. Finally, use the whistle to call, and do not feed in the order of bone and meat.
