Longevity Palace
The Longevity Palace, also called 万寿宫(wàn shòu gōng) in Chinese, is known as Jiangxi Guild Hall. Nearby the Wanming Tower, the Longevity Palace is located in Shawan area outside the beautiful east gate of Fenghuang Ancient Town. It is one of the top nine attractions inside Fenghuang Ancient Town.
Standing on the back of Qinglong Hill to faceTuojiang River, the Longevity Palace and has three doors to face away about 100 meters away from the tree holes of the ancient Rainbow Bridge. With the best loaction according to the Feng
Shui Theory, it means that money is seemed to come into the Longevity Palace.
The Longevity Palace is a large-scale, exquisite and unique architectural complex. In the palace, it is the Sun Building to stand in the north, and
Xiachang Tower in the west. Climbed up the 9 stone stairs, you can get into the main hall, and the main palace is on the behind of the Main Hall.
The Main Palace is a row of rigorous structures. Like the Longevity Palace all over the country, there is a statue of Xu Zhenjun (Jinyang Gong) in the uper-middle of the main palace. On the right side, it is the
Xiaogong Palace, Yangong Palace, Caishen Palace and the kitchen. On the left side, it is Leizu Palace, Xuanyuan Palace, Weituo Palace, Guanyin Palace, and the living room.
In the Longevity Palace, there is also a personal art exhibition hall which displays a lot of art treasures painted by Mr. Huang Yongyu, who is a well-known painter in
China and is praised as the “ghosts in the painting world”.
