Xijiang Miao Village is located in the northeast at the foot of Leishan mountain in Leishan county, Qiandongnan Miao & Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province, 36 km from the county and 35 km from the prefecture state Kaili, about 260 km from Guiyang City. Xijiang Miao Village, with over over one thousand families built on mountainous, is currently the largest Miao inhabited village in the world.
What to see?
There are 12 natural villages, 1,200 families and 6,000 people in the vilage which is famous for the "one-thousand-Household Miao village" and a historical cultural ancient town.A continuous row of houses spreads in line of the hilly area. These houses are unique and grand under sunshine and verdant trees.
Xijiang Miao Village is home to the “West” clan Miao. On the upper side of the hillside, there is a stack of Miaojia wooden slings. The old brown house is in the green mountains.
