The Eastern Guangdong Hall in
Baise City was built in 1720(the 59th year of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty) , and was rebuilt in 1840 (the 20th year of Emperor Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty) and in 1871( the 10th year of Emperor Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty).With its unique architectural style of Guangdong, it has a very high artistic value.
The Eastern Guangdong Hall' was a tea house for business discussions between businessmen from Guangdong、 Guangxi、Guizhou,Yunnan and other regions. On December 11, 1929, Deng Xiaoping successfully launched the
Baise Uprising and set up the headquarters of the Seventh Army of the Chinese Red Army in the hall. After the founding of New
China, the "Youjiang Revolutionary Cultural Relics Museum" was established on the former site of the hall. Nowadays, it has become a "national key cultural relics protection unit" and a "patriotic education place."
