Jiushou (旧州）means Old State. Nearby Equan Lake, Jiuzhou Old Street is 8 kilometers away from Jingxi County. Known as its beautiful water and unique mountains, it is the epitome of Jingxi scenery. Here,the landscape is picturesque, the countryside is luscious, the history is long, the Zhuang Ethnic Minority folk customs are rich. So it is known as the “Zhuang Ethnic Nationality Museum”.

What to see?

The cultural relics are very rich in the scenic area, such as Zhang Tianzong's cemetery built in the Ming Dynasty, the tombs of the Ceng's Tusi tombs, the simple and elegant Hydrangea Street,etc

The famous hydrangea street in the country is built on the river, with slate floors and numerous ancient buildings on both sides, big blue bricks and thick wooden doors. The local people of the three generations do hydrangea. The embroidery pattern is exquisite, the hand is delicate, such as the scenery of the Jiuzhou Old Street.And it is hard to let go. Sincerely the top of the hydrangea, it is the most famous tourist crafts in Jingxi.

On the farm days, the streets are all women who sit at the door and sew hydrangea. The old streets are full of bright cloth strips, ribbons and silk threads, and the fascinating old streets are bright. The woman holds the needle thread in their hands, and the tricks are transformed into numerous hand-crafted hydrangeas and small shoes. The colors are brightly matched, and the colors themselves are pure and clean.

In ancient times, Hydrangea was a token of love for young men and women of Zhuang nationality. Today, Hydrangea is a traditional handicraft of the old state. It is a unique tourist souvenir of Jingxi. It is hand-crafted and beautiful, and has become a mascot for gifting relatives and friends.
