E'quan Lake 鹅泉in Chines,known as Goose Spring Lake, is situated in Jingxi County,in Baise City of Guangxi Province. It has been one of the eight scenic spots in Jingxi since ancient times. The scenic area has green hills, pavilions, and rural areas, which can be felt here. The legend of "Goose Spring Jumping Three Layers of Waves" and the ancient stone carvings of the "Lingquan Evening" given by the Emperor of the Ming Dynasty added a charming atmosphere.
What to see?
After entering the gate of the scenic spot,you can walk along the riverside which one side is a towering mountain peak,and one side is a flat farmland.The Geese Spring is like a mirror, reflecting the beautiful scenery on both sides of the strait. Further up, you can see a 15-hole arch bridge, built in the Qing Dynasty, with a long ancient charm, and there are bamboo rafts from time to time, which is also one of the scenic spots of Goose Spring. The village connected to the bridge is called An Anzhen, where you can feel the original ecological pastoral atmosphere, springside clothes, ducks, buffalo and so on. Returning from the ancient hustle and bustle, boarding the pavilion in the middle of the mountain, looking up, the green mountains and green waters, the stone bridge bamboo, the farmland houses, constitute a beautiful picture, which makes people forget to return.
There are also Yangsong Temple on the edge of the Goose Spring. Three huge stone tablets such as the Goose Spring Pavilion Monument in the Qing Dynasty are standing in front of the temple. Most of the records on the stone tablet are the origins and the poems of the Goose Spring in history. There are also many inscriptions inscriptions, reflecting the mountains and waters, which is extremely quiet.
