Manbala Monastery

The Manbala Monastery  is located on the Tuhai Mountain in Lasengmiao Town, Hainan District, Wuhai City. "Manbala" is Tibetan, which means "Medical School of Ming Jing". Built in 1790, the Manbala Monastery is a place dedicated to the study of medical religion. 
 
The monks here first study the Tibetan Buddhism and then study Mongolian medicine. It is said that dozens of secret recipes of Mongolian medicine have been developed here, which is a holy place of Tibetan Buddhism featuring Mongolian medicine research.
 
The Manbala Monastery is an only place for religious activities of the Lama religion in Wuhai area. Nowadays,  It is full of people in every temple fair. And it attracts a lot of tourists for sightseeing every day.
