Day 2: Zhangjiajie (Tianmen Mountain)-Departure

After breakfast at hotel, you will first visit Zhangjiajie Museum, and  Tujia Folk Customs Park which are located in Zhangjiajie City. 
After lunch, explore Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park by round trip cable cars. Tianmen Mountain is praisd as "the Soul of Zhangjiajie". With 1518 metres above sea level, it is standing at the site of 8km south away from Zhangjiajie Downtown.Today you can exlpore the six wonders of Tianmen Mountain,including Tianmen Cave, Tontian Avene, The Ghost Plank Road, Glass Skywalk, Tianmen Temple, etc.

Take Bailong Elevator up to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. Yuanjiajie is also called AVATAR Mountain for the movie AVATAR is filmed here. Located in the northwest part of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Yuanjiajie is a naturally formed platform mountain, surrounded by higher summits which are divided by deep valleys. You will enjoy Hallelujah Mountain, the World's NO.1 Bridge,the Backyard Garden. After lunch, take bus about 40 minutes driving to He Long Park, and visit Tianzi Mountain.Tianzi Mountain is known for 4 natural spectacles, the clouds of mist that circle the peaks of the mountain, the amazing views of the rising sun, the moonlit nights and snowcapped winter peaks. They include more than 80 natural platforms to take in the magnificent scenery. Then take Tianzi Mountain cable car down and continue to visit Ten-mile Gallery by trams in Suoxiyu Scenic Spot.

Day 4: Zhangjiajie 

Day 5: Zhangjiajie-Yongshun
After breakfast, transfer to Furong Ancient Town, located in Mengdong River Scenic Area in Yongshun County, is a famous Tujia  Ancient Town with over 2,200 years history. Here you can meet local Tujia people ,see the real life of Tujia Ethnic style while you go around the ancient town.  After lunch transfer to visit Laosicheng was once a capital of Yongshun King Tusi with 818 years.With a total area of 62 acres (25 hectares), it is the largest, oldest, and best-preserved Tusi site in China. On July 4, 2015, the site was listed as a world cultural heritage, together with the Site of Tangya Tusi Domain and the Site of Hailongtun Tusi Fortress. After visiting transfer to Yongshun County and check in hotel.Meals: Breakfast/Lunch                      Accomodation: In Yongshun County

Day  6: Yongshun-Liye-Fenghuang
After breakfast, transfer to Liye Ancient  Town in Longshan County. Liye Ancient Town is well known for its discovery of 37,400 bamboo slips inscribed with scripts from the Qin Dynasty (221 BC-207 BC) in 2002. Liye means "to explore" in Tujia language. Liye Town was once an important channel connecting the central plains and the southwest of China, and thus was known as "an axis linking Chu and Shu". After the excavation of the terra-cotta warriors and horses, the 36,000 bamboo slips inscribed with scripts from the Qin dynasty （221bc-206bc） unearthed in the town in 2002 is the most important archaeological discovery for the study of the history of that period, and thus has attracted worldwide attention. After visiting, transfer to Fenghuang Ancient City and check in hotel.

Day 7:  Fenghuang-Zhangjiajie/ Departure
After breakfast your guide will take you to Fenghuang Ancient Town, upon entering the city, you will be impressed by its air of mystery,elegance and priming simplicity.The major spots in Fenghuang Ancient city include: Tuojiang river, Former Residence of Shengcongwen (a famous local writer), Hong Bridge and so on. See you off in Zhangjiajie Airport and looking forward to see you next time.
