There is not airport in Loudi City. But the distance between Loudi and Changsha is only 112 kilometers (70 miles), and Loudi is about 150 kilometers (93 miles), approximately one hour's drive from Changsha Huanghua International Airport. Visitors can take a bus to Changsha's south bus station, where the airport bus terminus can be found in the square in front of the station.

The Hunan-Guizhou and Luoyang-Zhanjiang railways interconnect at Loudi City. There are four major railway stations in Loudi City. They are Loudi Railway Station, Lengshuitan Railway Station,Lianyuan Railway Station and Xinhua Railway Station.
Loudi South Railway Station is a railway station of Hangzhou-kunming Passenger Railway located in Hunan. Visitors can take direct bullet trains from Changsha,Guangzhou.Huaihua, Shanghai,Guiyang,unming,Hangzhou to Loudi City.

By Bus
National highways No.320 and 207 run through the city area, and an expressway passes through it from east to west. Infrastructure facilities including telecommunications, energy supply and urban construction are being perfected. Visitors can take bus to Loudi City from Changsha, Shaoyang,Xiangtan, Changde, Yiyang, Zhangjiajie. Nowadays. it is very easily to get to  any scenic spots in Loudi by bus.
