Day 01 : Arrival in Chengdu
Arrival in Chengdu, capital of province Sichuan, the home town of Panda. Picked up by the local guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 02 : Chengdu – Leshan – Emei Shan
In the morning leave for Leshan. On the way enjoy the beautiful countryside landscape of western Chengdu Plains during about two hours of driving on the expressway. Upon arrival in Leshan visit of the Grand Buddha in Lingyun Temple. The grand Buddha was completed in 803 of Tang Dynasty after 90 years of construction and enjoys the fame of the biggest sitting stone sculpture in the world (71-meter height). Carved on the cliff face, the sculpture is well designed with perfect balance and effective water drainage system. After the visit of Lingyun Temple and the Grand Buddha, boating on the Minjiang River to see the front site of the Grand Buddha and the "hidden sleeping Buddha". Afterwards head for Mt. Emei, the main ritual place of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva (Puxian Pusa) and one of the four most celebrated Buddhist mountains in China. Visit of Baoguosi Temple, at the foot of Mt. Emei, the biggest temple in Emei Shan.

Day 03 : Emeishan – Chengdu 
Early in the morning take the sightseeing bus to Leidongping Bus Station along the 52-kilometer zigzag mountain road. Upon arrival, we take the cable car to the Golden Summit. With an altitude of 3099 meters, if the weather is fine, the view is amazing; the verdant forest waves surge along the mountain; Min River, Qingyi River and Dadu River are like three pieces of silk; Mt. Daxue and Mt. Gongga seem to stretch to the horizon; the sun emerges with all shimmering rays through the surging clouds. If you are lucky enough, the Buddhist light is visible. After the visit of Huazang Si Temple and the golden statue of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva (Puxian Pusa), we take the cable car and the sightseeing bus down to the foot of Mt. Day 04 : Chengdu – Sanxingdui – Mianyang 
In the morning drive to Chengdu Giant Panda Base of Breeding and Research. Founded in 1985, today there are over 50 giant pandas living there. Afterwards drive to Mianyang. On route visit of Sanxingdui Museum. This site is recognized as one of the most important ancient remains in the world for its vast size, lengthy period and enriched cultural contents. The unique Sanxingdui Museum is a good place to explore the mysterious ancient Shu culture and history. In the late afternoon we reach Pingwu in Mianyang City.

Day 05:  Mianyang - Pingwu – Jiuzhaigou
Keep dring via Pingwu to Jiuzhaigou (Nine-villages Valley), which is listed as a World Natural Heritage and reputed as a "fairyland" with its fantastic natural landscapes. It is named after the nine Tibetan villages in the scenic area. On the way visit of Bao'en Si Temple near Pingwu.

Day 06: Jiuzhaigou
Walking and sightseeing the whole day in the three valleys of Jiuzhaigou (Nine-villages Valley). As the water, the "soul of Jiuzhaigou", is pure, crystal-like and rich in colors, there is an adage saying that no water is worth your attention after your visit.

Day 07: Jiuzhaigou – Huanglong – Songpan 
In the morning drive to visit the Huanglong (Yellow Dragon) Scenic Spot which is listed as a World Natural Heritage. Huanglong is marked by its low-temperature and highly calcified Karst landform, which forms numerous valuable colored ponds. In the afternoon drive to Songpan, walking through the old city Songpan. County in Aba Prefecture

Day 08 : Songpan – Hongyuan - Wenchuan 
Drive to the grassland of Hongyuan, meet the Tibetan nomads, on the way visit of the Waqie Pagoda Forest and the Tibetan Maiwa Monastery. Keep on driving to Taoping Stockaded Village of Qiang People. The ancient Taoping Village has a great appeal for the numerous experts and tourists with its odd and wonderful fortress buildings. In the evening arrival in Wenchuan.

Day 09:  Wenchuan – Chengdu 
Drive to Yingxiu, visit of the 2008 earthquake relics. Then drive to Dujiangyan to visit the Irrigation System, which was built around 250 BC by Li Bin, a governor of the Shu Prefecture in Qin State. The great project still works well today after more than two thousands years in activity. Not only it puts into an end the water disasters but it also makes Chengdu Plain "the land of abundance". While visiting the water conservation work, you may find that the methods of harnessing the river the ancient people used were simple but effective. Late in the afternoon arrival in Chengdu.
