Huilong Pavilion Alley


Huilong Pavilion is located in the southeast of Fenghuang Ancient City.  Around here, there is a street named Huilong Pavilion Alley which is the oldest street in the ancient city. 
The ancient  Huilong Pavilion Alley  is nearby Tuojiang River. The stilt houses group with rich Miao architectural features stands along the shore, which is one of the most popular streets in the ancient city. In addition to the ancient stilt buildings one by one, there are also some attractions to see, such as the Duocui Building (the studio of the famous painter Mr. Huang Yongyu), Zhunti Temple (the most popular temple in Fenghuang), and the Tomb of Shen Congwen( it is located at end of the street).
With 240 meters in length, the stilt houses along the Huilong Pavilion Alley were built originally in the Qing Dynasty (1645-1911). All hanging buildings here have been opened various shops and hostels . There are many bars in the first half of the ancient street, and characteristic inns and hostels in the second half. Living in the inn along the river, you can see Wanming Pagoda, Shawan Scenic Spot, Longevity Palace, Tuojiang River Rafting.

As night falls, the bright lights and stilt houses are reflected on the water when the lights in the ancient street light up.  It will make you feel refreshed.
