Tiantangzhai Scenic Spot is located in Luotian County, Huanggang City of Hubei Province. Crowned as the most beautiful mountain in central China, Tiantangzhai (namely a mountain village in heaven), the main peak of Dabie Mountains, stands in magnificence and charm with an altitude of 1729.13m. It lies in the border of Hubei Province and Anhui Province, and overlooks He’nan Province.

Standing on the top of the peak, you can enjoy the imposing and spectacular sight of endless mountains rising after one another and a panoramic view of the beautiful landscape in the Yangtze River and Huaihe River valleys.

Sometimes the sun shines upon this heavenly mountain top, while other times it is surrounded by a sea of clouds and mist. Plethora of Clouds, lofty mountains, the site of ancient battlefield, legends, secluded primitive forests all make Tiantangzhai a pleasant and enlightening experience for visitors.

The main scenic attractions of the Tiantangzhai include the Hanging Waterfall, the Lover Pines, the Five Dragon Pines, the Pagoda of Straw Rain Cape, the Chicken Heart Stronghold, the Sun Observation Tower, the Divine Clock of Century, the Nine Wells and grotesque rock formations that shape like turtle, toad, lion and snake, etc.

Bodaofeng Peak is located on the western side of Tiantangzhai Forest Park. As one of the main peaks of the Dabie Mountains, its elevation is 1,408.2 meters; the forest coverage is around 98%, and the average temperature is 16.4 degrees Celsius.  Bodaofeng Peak is famous for its scenic beauty and natural landscape, which includes wondrous pines, picturesque rocks, and steep peaks. For those interested in touring Bodaofeng Peak, there are several tour lines, including those to Xiguoding (锡锅顶), Wolonggang (卧龙岗), and Yuanmenggu (圆梦谷). All of these places are well-known for their beauty.There are cable cars, which run along two lines that are around 1,000 meters long, allowing visitors to look out across the entire scenic spot.
