Tianshan Mystic Grand Canyon, also name Kuqa Grand Canyon, is located on the Dushanzi-Kuqa Highway, and it is about 70 kilometers from the Kuqa county seat. This canyon is famous for its russet rocks formed by wind and rain over millions of years. The mysterious Aay Grotto which is about two kilometers from the canyon entrance was built during the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
Tianshan Mysterious Grand Canyon is Danxia Landmark, and is also the most beautiful Grand Canyon in Xinjiang. The Grand Canyon consists of the main valley and the seven branch valleys. It has a total length of more than 5 kilometers. The natural drop between the valley end and the valley is more than 200 meters. The bottom is 53 meters wide and the narrowest is 0.4 meters. Only one person bows and bends sideways.
