Chinese National Musical Instrument Museum is the largest, largest and most unique national musical instrument museum in China. It was creatively built by
Shanghai National Musical Instrument Factory in 1981 and officially opened in October 1986. The name of the museum is inscribed by the famous calligrapher Han Tianheng. More than 10 famous calligraphers and painters such as Lu Ji, Ren Zheng, Zhao Lengyue, and Qiao Mu, chairman of the China Music Association, inscribed and painted for the museum.
