Tianhe Mountain Scenic Area, also called China’s mountain of romantic love, is located at the boarders of Shanxi Province and Hebei Province, which covers an area of 30 square kilometers. It enjoys convenient transportation and beautiful scene, about 50 kilometers away from Xingtai City.

There stand peculiar peaks, deep valleys, lush forests and vegetation; there are waterfalls, clear springs so it is called the“Taihang Mountains and Water”; here you can hear the whistling of the wind in the pines, flocks and herds on the“grassland on top of the cloud”.

The story of the cowboy and the weaving girl has been passed on in this area and many cultural sites can be found here. According to experts, this is the birthplace of that story. In 2005, the scenic area registered the brand“China’s Mountain of Romantic Love”. In 2006, the mountain was named the Research Base of Qixi Culture by China Folklore Association, and the“Hometown of Chinese Qixi Culture” by China Folk Artists Association.

It is a bright pearl in the Taihang Mountain. The main attractions are Hanque, Tianhe Lake, Mandarin Duck Pond, Tianhe Resort, Diexian Valley, Bilian Pond, Lover’s Valley, Cowboy Mansion, Fairy Peak, the Bridge of Magpies, the Matchmaker Peak, the Goddess Temple, Fuzi Stone, and grassland on top of the cloud. The Qixi Culture Exhibition Hall and Ancient Chinese Sex Culture Exhibition have been open to tourists.

The outdoor development and training base and valley drifting program can also be found here. You will experience great fall and high speed water flow in the valley, so this place is called“China Lover’s drifting”. Couples can feel both the excitement and the tranquility in the valley while the water is not that quick and water is clear, fish swimming around them.
